Happy Father's Day! We love you!

One week ago, I woke to the news that my friend was gone. A friend I had known since I was a kid. My heart is sad he is gone. His sister was my very best friend for many, many years, and is still to this day my friend. My heart hurts for her. His mother is a wonderful women whose whole life is and always has been about her kids. My heart breaks for her the most.

Austin was the life of every party. He said and did the craziest things. He was always adventurous and loved every minute his life. Whatever he did, he had a great time doing it. His sister and I talked late into the night last night about all the crazy things he had done in his past and laughed about them.

Last week, he left home on his motorcycle to visit a friend. He was leaving his friend to come home when he was hit by a van that just didn't see him. That was his last adventurous moment on this earth.

Please, pray for my friends family. For the sweet little girl he left behind. Pray they find a way to make it each day without him.
