I was a little bit worried when the only thing Garrett kept asking Santa for was this...

a snowboard. He does know we live in Tennessee, right?

and then a week ago for his birthday when he REALLY wanted this hat and these boots...



but Santa being the wonderful man he is went ahead a brought the snow too! Garrett has had the best time going down our mountain...I mean front yard!

Christmas with Grandaddy

Yesterday, Clay's dad, also known around here as Grandaddy came up with a few gifts for the boys! Clay's Grandad has not been doing so well, so we will have to postpone Christmas a little while, but they wanted to make sure the boys got their gifts. We hate that we wont see them tomorrow, but the boys are loving their toys...Thanks, Grandaddy and Grammie

Grant saw this Nutcracker at the mall yesterday and wanted his picture made with it. He is really into "MuppetCrackers" and "GingerReds" this year. Someday, I will tell him that's not what they are really called, but its not someday yet!

So Long Thirty

What a year...it has truly been a roller coaster of a year. It was filled with the highest of highest, and the lowest of lowes. Without a doubt, the hardest year of my life. While I do hate to get older, I am kinda glad to say good-bye to 30. Who knows what 31 will hold, but I do hope its the greatest year yet. I already feel like it could be getting better...I am just ending what I know is the BEST BIRTHDAY EVER. I spent the whole day with the four men I love the most, and what could be better than that?! I am so thankful for all of the wonderful people I have filled this life with. So, good-bye 30...Hello 31.

This day 8 years ago was the best day! It was the day I knew love at first sight really did exist. It was the day my life changed forever. It was the day I became a Mommy. These 8 years have been the best of my life. They changed who I was and who I would become. Garrett Michael I love EVERYTHING about you! You love every moment of life, and are always happy. You are so good to others and have the biggest heart I have ever seen. I know you will do great things in this life...you already have. Happy 8th Birthday sweet little man. I LOVE you!
